The US Federal response to COVID has been chaotic. Each state is responsible for its own COVID response.
As they begin to lift their COVID-related restrictions, it is useful (and a bit scary) to recognise that the virus is still spreading at epidemic rates in nearly half the US states. Texas is at the top of the list.
Pandemic planners the world over will be watching to see what happens to the US case numbers over coming weeks.
Will it be ok?
Will there be huge waves?
No one knows.
