ON THE AGENDA / Douglas Shire Council releases AGENDA for Tuesday’s Council meeting live-streamed on facebook. Items of interest include the gifting of Bally Hooley, funding for Port Shorts, the Douglas Chamber of Commerce and TPDD, and the relinquishment of Blue Pools Trusteeship.

MORE JOB LOSSES / 6000 QANTAS employees lose their jobs, with another 15,000 standing down temporarily. The A380 Superjumbos to be mothballed in California’s Mojave desert until 20203. CEO Alan Joyce calls for an extension of the JobKeeper payments.
