Alliance Airlines start flying into Cairns in new domestic route

In a welcome boost for regional tourism, Alliance Airlines will begin flying direct to the Sunshine Coast and onward to Cairns from Canberra on Friday, October 23, with more destinations added in the future.

The new double destination service is the first time Alliance Airlines has offered regular passenger services to Canberra.Flights will operate on Mondays and Fridays using Alliance’s 100-seat Fokker 100 jet.

From 23 October 2020, Alliance will operate twice weekly services on Mondays and Fridays, using a 100-seat Fokker 100 jet.

Seats are on sale now, starting at $129 one way including taxes between Canberra and the Sunshine Coast, and $249 one way including taxes between Canberra and Cairns (conditions apply).
