WHY not get volunteer to involved in the biggest party in Port Douglas?
PORT DOUGLAS Carnivale, the biggest event on the local tropical social calendar, is shouting out for fabulous local talent and community-minded volunteers to get involved in this year’s event.
Locked in for May 21-23, Port Douglas will come alive with another memorable event featuring the iconic Macrossan Street Parade, Family Beach day, Longest Lunch and the Tropic Rock concert headlining Spiderbait.

Carnivale is a celebration of the Douglas Shire’s tropical lifestyle, an opportunity to connect with our community and the traditional kick-off for the tourist season.

To help make the 2021 Carnivale even more special, local businesses, sports clubs, community groups, performers and artists are asked to get involved.
Local artists and performers might consider presenting an event or activity (such as busking, fire twirling, street or beach entertainment).
You might prefer to support an existing event, such as volunteering as a crowd marshall.
Either way, get involved and to make the most of our beloved annual event.

Volunteers get ready for your fifteen minutes of fame!
Carnivale organisers will assist in the promotion of your event, which will be included in the Carnivale program, on the event website and through social media channels promoting you to local and visiting attendees.
So, get involved, put your hand up and participate in this great annual event and get your activity included as part of the biggest event in town.
