United States Shows How Vaccination Can Beat COVID-19

The two graphs below indicate how vaccination is “beating” one of the world’s worst COVID-19 outbreaks.

The number of new cases per day has fallen from a high of 250,000 cases in early January 2021 to just 20,000 per day this week.

This fall correlates with the United States’ successful vaccination campaign where over 50% of the population have received at least one dose of vaccine, and 9.25% have had both doses.

The United States looks forward to a relatively “normal” summer and autumn, with most COVID-related restrictions being unwound.
