FV Condamine (fresh wild caught fish) and FV Santiego (prawns) will be at the public jetty in Port Douglas tomorrow from 7am, and Santiego will also be there on Sunday from 8am.
What is the weather doing?
A high [1017 hPa] in the northern Tasman Sea extends a weakening ridge over eastern Queensland. A trough will move across the south of the state today and on Saturday, moving offshore across waters south of Cooktown early on Sunday. A new high will move across central Australia from Sunday, extending a ridge over North Queensland Waters in the wake of the trough. Winds hover around 10 knots for most of the weekend but on Sunday become south to southeasterly 10 to 15 knots during the morning, and increase to 15 to 20 knots in the middle of the day.
