DAB “END OF YEAR” EXHIBITION / Come along to enjoy the results of DAB’s many workshops, classes and courses.  The exhibition will be open daily from 10am to 2pm (except Sundays) from 13 November to 11 December.   Many pieces of artwork will be for sale at affordable prices.

What is the weather doing?

A high [1024 hPa] extends a firm ridge over northern waters. The ridge will gradually weaken over the next few days as the high drifts east. today, expect winds east to southeasterly 15 to 20 knots, reaching up to 25 knots offshore north of Cairns in the early morning. Inshore winds south of Innisfail decreasing to 10 to 15 knots in the afternoon. Tomorrow winds are east to southeasterly 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 10 to 15 knots in the late morning while on Sunday, winds ease back to east to southeasterly 10 to 15 knots.

UNDERSTORY FILM FESTIVAL 2021 FILMMAKERS SYMPOSIUM / CAIRNS PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE 2pm. FOUR MILE BEACH SOCIAL SWIM / A weekly social Ocean Swim around the buoys in front of the patrol hut, which makes about a 500m course. Meet in front of the patrol hut on Four Mile Beach at 9am. Please note this is a social swim without any organised water safety and you swim at your own risk. For safety reasons we swim in front of the patrol hut during lifeguard hours.
