What is the weather actually doing?
A weak trough extends across the far northern Peninsula and offshore over the far northern Coral Sea. A weak ridge along the east coast will strengthen over the next two days as a high near Tasmania drifts slowly into the Tasman Sea. Winds will be 15-20 knots east-southeasterly for the next couple of days, dropping to 10-15 knots on Sunday.
