FERRY CLOSURE / The Daintree Ferry service will cease at 10pm on Friday 6 May 2022 and resume at 5am on Monday 9 May 2022. Council has secured a 50-person passenger ferry which will operate in daylight hours – between 6am and 6pm for the Saturday and Sunday. The service will operate continuously across the river during these hours.

There will not be a vehicle ferry service for the 48-hour closure period.
