Port Douglas’ Gran Fondo Festival will be held over this weekend. The Festival is Tropical North Queenslandโ€™s newest major event with a 136km, 100km & 48km cycling course to choose from. MOSSMAN YOUTH CENTRE/ Family Fun Day 3.30-6.30pm at George Davis Park. Proudly presented by Mossman Support Services, Youth Centre team. There will be a Giant slide, Gladiator game, Wildlife Habitat with a croc and snake, Footy with the Sharks, arts and craft, free sausage sizzle, entertainment food and stalls. The fun day will coincide with Child Protection Week and aims to help bring awareness about the safety nets available to children within our community. The day is focused around the ‘Who’s your Five’ concept that within the community children have several people and organisations they can turn to as they reach out for support. Our five include Parents, Schools, Police, Youth Centre and Parents. This project is funded by Queensland Child Protection Week.
