A slack pressure gradient persists over far northern waters. A high [1017 hPa] over the southern Coral Sea will extend a weak ridge over the northern waters on Friday. A high [1023hPa] moving east across southeastern Australia towards the Tasman Sea will maintain the weak coastal ridge over the weekend. 10-15 knots all weekend with the chance of a thunderstorm daily.
