Hughies in Mossman is open again Friday for their once-a-week celebrity appearance from 4pm.
Stop by from 11pm till late at the Ironbar this Saturday and sway away to the tunes of DJ Fran.
This Friday, Mount Molloy National Hotel features live music and Jag the Joker with meat raffles-tickets with your drink purchase from 5.30pm. Happy Hour and a transfer bus home (book early!) or a room at the inn upstairs.

Mossman Chill Out Group play host to some of our local favourite musicians next Tuesday at Mossman Community Centre from 930 am.
GET DIGITAL SAVVY
A Digital Conversion Clinic will be held at the Mossman Bowls Club tomorrow from 8.30am-12.30pm.
Following the success of the Digital Marketing Clinics in Port Douglas and Daintree, a final clinic is now being hosted in Mossman. Specifically tailored for the Shire’s micro and small businesses, the Digital Conversion Clinic is free for small businesses, and will arm you with the fundamentals to generate and convert digital leads.
Delivered by local Digital Marketing Specialist, Mark Cox, the workshop will give local business owners access to best-practise knowledge to build confidence in applying digital marketing.

Seafood Marketplace at the Sheraton this Saturday from 6pm.
The Yachty / On Wednesdays they host a Pasta Night with delicious lasagne and cannelloni prepared by Italian chef Alex for only $20. $19 Parmy night is Thursdays. Friday is a Specials board. Saturday’s offering is a Seafood Platter for two with a bottle of vino for $90.

WILDLIFE SYMPOSIUM
Terrain NRM is hosting the North Queensland Threatened Species Symposium tomorrow, bringing together scientists, conservationists, traditional owners, and government reps to discuss recovery efforts of over 500 threatened animal and plant species in the region, many of which are solely found here.
The two-day think-tank isΒ focusing on boosting recovery efforts.Β From cassowaries to sawfish and golden-shouldered parrots, all are in the spotlight.
Topics on the agenda include:
β’ Planners and threatened species
β’ Recovery planning and coordination
β’ Onground actions and monitoring
β’ National, state and regional threatened species initiatives and prioritisation
β’ Volunteer mechanisms for habitat protection
β’ Challenges and Opportunities for Threatened Species Recovery: Presentations from Recovery Teams and Action Groups
While this event is targeted at recovery teams, action groups and Traditional Owners, all those involved in or interested in threatened species recovery in north Queensland are welcome.
