The 2023 Wallaby Creek Festival is poised to deliver an unforgettable experience, celebrating its 21st anniversary.

Jen Midgley, Festival Director, “We are truly excited to welcome everyone back to the Wallaby Creek Festival! This year’s festivities encompass more than just entertainment; they represent a connection with nature, the support of artistic endeavours, and a positive contribution to the environment. Additionally, this year’s festival provides an opportunity for the community to rally together, aiding in the acquisition of the festival grounds through generous donations.”

“We’re also pleased to present an exceptional lineup of artists while championing eco-conscious initiatives that align harmoniously with our vision of a sustainable future.”

The headline act for this year’s festival is the internationally acclaimed indie-folk sensation, Tijuana Cartel. Having honed their craft on some of Australia’s biggest stages, Tijuana Cartel offers an east-meets-west musical wonderland, delivering an immersive experience laden with high-energy, guitar-driven world music for indie afficionados.

The festival’s diverse roster includes other remarkable talents:

  • Nathan Cavaleri: An Australian musical prodigy, whose journey includes captivating encounters with musical giants like B.B. King, Etta James, and Bonnie Raitt. A true embodiment of resilience and authenticity, Cavaleri’s performances are marked by profound storytelling and soul-stirring melodies.
  • Harry James Angus: With over two decades of musical mastery, Angus is renowned for his dynamic trumpeting and vocal prowess. Having toured extensively with The Cat Empire, Angus now teams up with drumming virtuoso Freyja Hooper to deliver a stripped-down yet powerful rhythmic experience.
  • Julian Belbachir: Embark on a rhythmic odyssey of traditional Indigenous music from North-Western Africa, presented through a modern lens. A truly distinctive and unforgettable auditory journey.
  • Toby Beard: Hailing from Western Australia, Toby Beard is far from your average singer-songwriter. Armed with captivating lyrics and dynamic vocals, her performances are a testament to genuine songwriting and artistic expression.
