Unsurprisingly, given its abundance of natural beauty, the Douglas Shire continues to attract visual artists of all persuasion: painters, sculptors, ceramicists, photographers, weavers and assemblage artists, just for starters.
For many artists just working here has heralded a whole new world of inspiration and this is what the latest βEXposedβ exhibition is all about.

One day, and it has been a long held dream, Douglas artists are hoping to have a stand alone gallery to attract tourists and locals alike. Your encouragement will help make that dream a reality.
