Douglas Hockey Introduces Super 5s

hockey 5s

Super 5s hockey is a fun, fast, furious, high-scoring social hockey game designed for multiple surfaces, environments and space. It is launching in the Douglas Shire soon!

HOCKEY 5s is a short format designed to enhance the community reach of hockey via a game which is fast, skilful and adaptable with a set of simplified rules. There are two halves in a match with the aim to be short, sharp and exciting. In many ways, Hockey 5s can be played virtually anywhere at any time. It is therefore an ideal introduction to the sport which enables core skills to develop and the game to be enjoyed with simple rules in an informal setting.

Douglas games kick off 2 May 2021 for Juniors (Sunday mornings) and 3 May 2021 for Seniors (Monday evenings).

All games will be played at Coronation Park, Mossman.

Get your friends and form a mixed team together now !
