Apparent Poisoning of Four Mile Beach Foreshore

DouglasNews.Network reports on the apparent poisoning of foreshore grasses at the end of Helmet St, Four Mile Beach.

It appears most likely that herbicide has been used.

The gathering of dead grasses seems to indicate that further “developments” are planned.

DouglasNews.Network will continue to post weekly photographic updates, and notify Douglas Shire Council of the event.
